Jeanine Smith is the Founder of Black Girls in Real Estate and Co-Founder of The B Mogul Group with her fiancé Nick Searcy. She launched her real estate business 3 years ago as a single mom by fixing up the home she was living in with her daughter from home design styles that she watched and imitated from HGTV and selling it.
She sold her home in 10 days and leveraged the funds to launch her business. Having made $70,000 from the sale of the home she spent half paying off her debt and the other half she used to secure hard money funds to do her next deal.
Jeanine always describes this moment as one of the scariest things she has ever done in her life but it also yielded in the biggest pay off of her life in regards to freedom and being able to drive her own income. If someone would have told her 3 years ago that she could have created this life as a real estate entrepreneur she would have made the leap sooner.
Jeanine, her fiancé Nick and her father, Greg Smith of Homestead 1862, now renovate and develop homes in the throughout the Atlanta area. Her business is slated to net over 1 million in sales in 2021.
During this time, she also launched her group, Black Girls in Real Estate, with an intent to connect African American Women who are in or interested in Real Estate. With her membership at 9,000 her goal is for everyone to learn, connect and make money!
She is also a broker for several hard money companies that specialize in Fix and Flip Loans and Buy and Hold Loans.
